Award Nominations
During the 2023 Poverty Matters! Conference, attendees will celebrate the affirming achievements that come from achieving economic security. The planning committee will present two awards at the conference:
Courage Award: Recognizes an individual who has overcome significant barriers in attaining economic security.
Herb Kohl Helping Hand Award: Recognizes an organization or individual that has demonstrated leadership and commitment to addressing the needs of low-income people.
Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 23rd!
